THE CONSTITUTION OF KAZAKHSTAN
The Constitution (Con.) is a written document which every country has. It considates the country's position, proclaims the principles of the home policy and determines the basic directions of the country's development. Usualy the Con. has many charters and articles which give the basic duties of the citizens forward the society. The new Con. of Kazakhstan was adopted in August, 1995. It has 21 chapters and 130 articles. The Con. proclaims that Kazakhstan is an independent democratic legal and social state whose highest value are an individual life, rights and freedoms.
The Head of the State is a president. According to the Con. the state language is the Kazakh one. Our Con. provides it's citizens equal rights to all public organizations and have right to live, to be equal, to choose religion, to express our conviction (сенушшк), to use native language and culture, to fully use the language of communication and education and creative activities, every one is equal before the law and court.
People of our republic have the right to abour and a free choice, to medical help (care), to education, work and work-housing and paid holiday.
Property including the right of inheritance are guaranteed by Jaw;
marriage and family, motherhood and fatherhood and childhood. Everything is under the protection of the state.
According to the Con. every citizen of our country must fulfil his duties. Everyone must observe the Con., obey it's Jaws and respect the rights, freedoms, honor and dignity of other persons. Everyone must respect the state symbols, defends the Republic of Kazakhstan. It's a sacred duty and responsibility of it's every citizen.
Citizens of Rep. Kazakhstan must care for the protection of Historicall and Cultural heritage (мура) and preserve monuments of History and Culture, take care of nature and protect natural resources. So, the Con. teachs us to be good citizens of our country and study, work, create in the interests of the whole society.
